It is a peaceful resort with a 5 km long beach of sand and shingle with warm, shallow water for safe bathing and swimming for children. Moraitika has develped a lot and it is tending to merge with Messonghi. The old village called Ano Moraitika stands on the hill above the beach and we propose to take a walk there. There are several hotels, bars and restaurants in the area. Also watersports facilities, karting and boat trips are available.
